The Rum Tum Tugger, 2006. This
is one of 2 nearly identical Tuggers that I made. This one I sold on ebay for about $175, and the other is in my personal
collection. From the 1997 video version of the "Cats!" musical, played
by John Partridge, the doll of Rum Tum was originally a Happy Family Hometown Fair Alan. I cut his hair and removed his ring
paint. He wears black factory Mattel sneakers. His outfit is entirely handmade and hand-painted where applicable. His fluff
is hot glued to his head, and his face and fur detailing was painted over with Liquitex acrylics. His face has been varnished
with polymer varnish. The real outfit was a spandex-type suit, and my doll does not wear real spandex, but his black material
was selected to be similarly stretchy and to reflect light.

Mr. Mistoffelees, 2009. He began his life as a 1997 Peter Pan
doll. His arms and fingers have been boil-molded into a "ta da!" pose. His head fuzz is sewn to his
head. His original face paint was removed, and completely redone head, neck, and arms as close as possible to
Jacob Brent's visage in the film. He is "fancy Mr. M" from when he had his song. Due to being unable
to find little bitty lights for his jacket, I opted for shoulder tufts and sparkles instead, as can be seen at some point
in the film. Besides the shoes, the outfit is handmade and sewn on. This doll is in my personal collection, and
is the only one of its kind.
