O065: "Sulfur Barbie," 2006.
Third design in a series, first doll in a series. Based on my design from 1999.
Full reroot with custom blend from Restoredoll.com, with silver, pale blond, and dayglo yellow. Face paint removed and
repainted with Liquitex acrylics and polymer varnished. Handmade outfit from satin and sheer material. The silver
strands are hand sewn on. Handmade sheet copper belt buckle. You can't see them, but she wears yellow Mattel
shoes. She was originally a singing princess doll, so she still sings two songs. I made her non-removable outfit so
that the battery hatch is accessible. This doll is completed
but is not quite ready to be available for sale. |
